Outdoor Experiences for All Ages and Skills

01

Youth

The future belongs to our youth! This program is designed for our young adventurers. Whether they're leading a cross-country ski team or taking part in an outdoor school outing, the goal remains the same: to build self-confidence, teamwork, and a strong Nunavummiut identity.

02

Ski Team

Cross-country skiing is more than a sport—it’s a way of life perfectly suited to our vast northern landscape. There’s nothing like a guided outing on groomed trails to build both physical and mental strength. Our certified professionals will help you set realistic, motivating goals and improve your performance—no matter your skill level.

03

Team Building

To strengthen a work team or a school group, there's nothing better than a series of games and challenges that let everyone showcase their unique skills and abilities. Our secluded cabin in the tundra provides the perfect setting for these fun and enriching days of connection and discovery.

04

Skills

Drawing on his extensive experience as an outdoor adventurer and athlete, Benoit offers a wide range of personalized outdoor activities—from cross-country skiing to snow sailing, telemark skiing, and many other winter sports.

OUR VISION

For Benoît, connecting with yourself comes through the symbiosis between being and nature.

This nature, so accessible, yet remains distant in our busy modern lives. The balance we seek is right under our noses, just steps from our homes, outside off our cocoons. Courage, strength, and wisdom are not empty words, but rather professional goals, the basic foundation necessary to confront nature and personal growth.

ABOUT ME

Benoit Havard

Benoit “Ben” Havard, founder of LoursBlanc Sila, has dedicated over 30 years to exploring and connecting with the North and its people. From guiding kayaking and hiking expeditions in Antarctica to trekking through the Arctic, Ben has introduced countless guests to the raw beauty of nature. His journey has taken him across Russia, Siberia, and the Canadian Arctic, immersing himself in the cultures and communities that thrive in some of the world’s most extreme environments.

LOCATION

Our basecamps

In town or on the tundra, our well-equipped base camps provide a safe haven, a starting point for the challenges ahead. In town, the "SkiCan" is a small, friendly, wood-heated ski chalet that serves as a meeting place as well as a repair and maintenance workshop.

In the tundra, the camp offers warm, rustic comfort. Located on the shores of a lake near a large sandy beach, it's the perfect spot to watch the Northern Lights dance. Sauna, archery, canoeing, snow sailing, and, unbelievably, a soccer field in the heart of the tundra—the variety of activities will amaze you.
