Kevin Sudlovenick

Job title and company

Originally from Resolute Bay, Kevin grew up following his parents year-round on hunting and fishing trips. He lived in Resolute in the 1980s, then moved to Pond Inlet in 1989, where he spent ten years exploring the region’s stunning mountainous terrain—rich in wildlife and cultural connection.

Kevin has worked with several government agencies and is currently employed by the Government of Nunavut. He is the proud father of three beautiful children and loves spending time on the land, especially boating during the spring and summer.

In addition to his deep knowledge of the land, Kevin brings invaluable technical and cultural support to the programs. His presence helps bridge traditional knowledge with outdoor learning experiences in a way that is both grounded and meaningful.
